The Rural Sector CSO Global Consultation on Development Effectiveness in Agriculture and Rural Development is a two-day consultative conference among CSOs engaged in agriculture and rural development aimed at advancing the aid and development agenda on food, agriculture and rural development under a new global governance body on effective development cooperation. The activity builds on positive policy gains on aid reform and development discourse in the AAA, Paris Declaration (PD) and now post Busan commitments.

The Global Consultation on Rural development and aid effectiveness will provide a forum for participants to meet to identify and promote key issues and action points in agriculture and rural development effectiveness. PCFS members will also have the opportunity to receive updates based on the General Programme of Action and to strategise on a way forward.
