Negros, Philippines - The lead investigators of an 85-member strong International Fact-Finding and Environmental Mission (IFFEM) unveiled its research on the impacts of mining in Negros on local communities and the environment today - Monday, November 12.

La Paz, Bolivia - Last October 31 and November 1, a total of 34 Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) representing indigenous peoples, peasants, afro organisation, rural women, support NGOs and research centers in the rural sector, international NGOs, experts, rural cooperatives, solidarity agriculture organizations and networks from 11 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean held a successful consultation-workshop on aid and development effectiveness on agriculture and rural development.
